Kuma Qualifies! - Claim Your Tax Credit
It's back! A $300 federal tax credit for the purchase and installation of a high efficient wood stove is available through December 31, 2020. Just make sure you invest in a high efficiency heater like Kuma's new line of low emission wood stoves.
What do you need to know?
1. Purchase your Kuma wood stove or insert before December 31st. 2020
2. If you have claimed this credit before then you could be limited on the amount you can claim this year. The maximum lifetime limit is $500.
What do you need to do?
1. For tax software users: Claim the credit in the "Home ownership and residential energy credit" section when working on your federal taxes. For paper filers: IRS Form 5695, line 22a will be the place to claim this credit. See the IRS instructions on this form for details.
2. Keep your purchase reciept and download our Tax Credit Efficiency Certificate for your records.
