| Purchased the Ashwood insert at the end of last winter so waited a full season to evaluate. The stove exceeds expectations. We live in North GA mountains (a long way from ID) but settled on Kuma after extensive review. The design, fabrication, and function are exceptional. Selling points were materials & design [ex. compared weight of Kuma (+80 lbs) vs comparable size stoves], price; support of staff, made in USA, faith based family business. Insert was put in existing, pre-fab firebox and J. Freeman was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. Stove has reduced LP gas costs more than 50%. Highly recommend Kuma (5 stars!) |
