If you don't have a local Kuma dealer, consider hiring a certified chimney professional for the installation of your new stove, and be sure to check with your local building officials regarding the necessity for a proper permit and inspection. You can find properly trained installers at nficertified.org or csia.org.

Best investment ever |
We bought the Kuma Arctic for a new construction home and have been using it for about 1 year now. We have the 8” burner model and the heat this stove puts out is amazing. We rarely run the stove above the low setting and run it for several days, 24 hours a day. The fuel consumption is amazingly low and the ease of maintenance and lighting is very simple. Why anyone would not choose one of the Kuma Arctic stoves as your heating source is beyond me, simply said this is the best investment we made in our new home. | |

Using Biodiesel |
I run a mixture of about 95% homemade biodiesel and 5% #1 diesel and it works great. I shut it down about every 10-14 days to clean the burner using a wire brush and shop vac. Takes about 10 minutes after things have cooled down. Be sure to get the fresh air intake kit or you will wish you did. |
