So we purchased the Applewood Cook stove to replace an older stove. Like the idea of a cook stove and since this is our main source of heat in the winter time, why not have fun with it?! We’ve had it a couple of weeks and we have cooked bread, cookies, croissants, hamburgers, muffins biscuits. It’s been a fun experience very nice stove puts out a lot of heat serves as a dual purpose for us. One thing I wish I could find would be a lid for the top plate to help melt cheese on a hamburger or just maybe not make a mess. |

I was excited about the Kuma Applewood Cook Stove from the first time I heard about it. It is exactly what I was looking for, the ability to cook meals and keep our living space warm, even if the power is out in the middle of winter. My inaugural meal on our new stove, in true Alaskan fashion, was moose chili and biscuits, and it turned out fabulous! The Kuma Applewood Cook Stove, complete with side shelves and the cook's heat shield, is a beautiful stove that fits perfectly in our home. |
