We love it! |

We do not dread winter anymore! This is the second season with our Kuma stove and we love it! The stove is very easy to get burning and to regulate, even for inexperienced fire builders. We like the clean, efficient burn, too. We have our firewood and look forward to building that first fire of the season! |

I couldn't be happier with my new stove. Build quality is excellent, design is great. We live on a remote island in SE Alaska and wood is our primary heat source. This stove is a massive upgrade from our interesting, but hungry and smoky 100 year old pot belly stove. We own a small business ourselves ( Hoonah Beach House) so supporting another small business is always a plus. |

New Aberdeen Wood Stove |
| I purchased the Aberdeen model last December. Since there are no Kuma dealers near me they kindly delivered it right to my door. The stove was in perfect condition upon receipt. They had packed everything very securely. Once I had my new stove installed I followed the directions for the first fire and break in period. There was almost no smell during the first fire and within three fires it was completely gone. I am very impressed with this stove. My house is 1400 square feet and this stove heats it easily. We burn mostly oak with some hickory and poplar. The stove is very well built, functions perfectly, and we have not had one problem. I’m a paraplegic and the height of the firebox is just right for me to put wood in without having to bend to far forward. We love the way this stove looks and the large glass in the door. I grew up using wood stoves in upstate New York during the 80’s and it’s impressive how efficient stoves have become. I didn’t have any problem using the catalyst, I just followed the directions and took my time. I would highly recommend this stove and if I ever buy another wood stove, I’m buying a Kuma. | |
