By this time, everyone is aware of the continuing spread of Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the United States.  We are concerned for the health and economic challenges that face our community, our nation and our world. Many of us are praying daily for the healing of those who are sick.  We are continuing to support our customers who need access to home heating products including appliances, repair parts, and venting.  Many businesses are taking preventive measures to protect their customers, employees and vendors. At Kuma Stoves we are taking the following precautionary steps to reduce the spread of the virus in our community and beyond:

  1. We have closed our factory showroom to the public and we are asking visitors to call to arrange appointments for their home heating needs. Additionally, we are not allowing any factory tours and solicitation of new business at the factory (door to door salespersons) is prohibited. Whenever possible, we are encouraging electronic communication instead of in person visits.

  2. We have increased the cleaning of our facility to ensure the health and wellbeing of our customers and employees.

  3. A portion of our staff are working remotely and we have reduced working days/hours for employees while not reducing payroll. Through the end of April, the factory will be closed on Fridays. We are available Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm Pacific. In the coming weeks, we will assess whether this modified schedule will need to continue.

We understand that you are likely experiencing difficult decisions for you and your families. Although our store is closed for the time being, we are not experiencing any significant supply or labor issues and our manufacturing is near full strength.  We will do everything possible to support your home heating needs as we work through this together.

Thank you for placing your confidence in Kuma,
