New for the 2008/2009 season
Spring is here, that means things are looking new. Here at the Kuma factory we have experienced one of the snowiest winters on record so we are ready for a change. Speaking of changes, here is what is new for the 2008/2009 Kuma stove line.
1. New website- you may have noticed an updated look to our site. What we are especially excited about is our new zip code driven dealer locater. The Kuma dealer family is growing and we are happy to see our woodstoves, oil stoves, and bio-diesel stoves in more places all across North America. We are continually adding new dealers that are just a 5 digit zip code away.
2. New Products- The Kuma model: Ashwood, will be finishing the E.P.A emissions test soon and will be ready for a safety test, then on to production. This new Kuma Woodstove will feature an optional ash pan, legs, pedestal, and can be installed as a free standing stove or a fireplace insert. As a fireplace insert, it will be a little brother to our powerhouse model: Sequoia Insert, but will fit into more existing fireplaces making it a versatile stove with great features. Best of all it will be a good heater. We know many of you have been waiting a long time for the Ashwood, we thank you for waiting and as Benjamin Franklin said: “He that can have Patience, can have what he will”
3. New Features- We have made a few design changes on the 2008/2009 Kuma Woodstove line. First, all of our wood stoves now have pre-drilled, pre-tapped mounting holes for the blower systems. This means no more need for a drill when installing the blower to your Kuma stove. Second we have developed an adjustable door wedge system that is now in production. Although the doors come factory set, this allows you to adjust the door for a perfect fit. This is especially helpful if you ever need to replace the gasket on the door or if you would ever like to upgrade to a pewter or gold plated door. Third, we have upgraded the mounting bolts for the burn system to a high grade 1/4" 20 bolt.
